Welcome

If you want to know more about acupuncture and how it can benefit you, you have come to the right place.

Choosing an acupuncturist for your natural health needs is a very personal and delicate decision. For your own safety, make sure you select a Board of Medical Practice Licensed Acupuncturist and NCCAOM accredited Licensed Acupuncturist.

As a Licensed Acupuncturist, trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I help you recover your health by talking to you, listening to your symptoms, discussing your health goals and designing a treatment plan that will work for you.

When you are looking for an acupuncturist,  be wary about “certified” acupuncturists who lack Traditional Chinese Medicinal training–this often includes Chiropractic acupuncturists and Medical Doctor (Physician) acupuncturists.

As a rule, always ask a potential practitioner if s/he is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac)–which is the title given to qualified practitioners, by the Board of Medical Practice.

How acupuncture can help your quality of life, over 80% of the time:

It’s true. Over 80% of the patients I treat tell me that acupuncture has helped them more than they expected. Sure, that’s a subjective measurement, but when patients tell you in their own words that they feel better…that’s a good sign that something is working!

There’s every reason in the world that you can expect to see these kinds of results, too.

Maybe you want to reduce stress, prevent health issues and be more proactive in making healthy lifestyle choices.

Maybe you want to try to calm your back pain, get back to gardening (without a sore hip) or free your worried mind…all conditions that benefit from acupuncture, in my experience.

Here’s a quick list of conditions acupuncture can help:

  • Feelings of anger, frustration, anxiety and overwhelm
  • Sciatica, back pain and muscle pain
  • PMS, irregular ovulation, irregular cycles
  • Infertility
  • Migraines, headaches and neck pain
  • Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and low energy

This is just a partial list of conditions that acupuncture has been able to effectively address, in my 11+ years of clinical experience.

If you want to know how acupuncture can help your specific condition, contact me and we can discuss your questions.

What should you look for in a qualified practitioner?

  • You want someone who will listen to you, evaluate your health and give you an honest?opinion about what you can expect from your treatment.
  • You want to know how many treatments you’ll need to see results. You also want to?know the cost of treatment, and how you will evaluate your progress so you know?you treatments are working.
  • You also want someone with experience. Someone who can get you results you want,?in the shortest amount of time.
  • All of these, and other frequently asked questions you may have will be answered for? you on this website.

What to expect on your first appointment:

The first time you come into the clinic, you will have a one-on-one consultation, followed by an acupuncture treatment. Depending upon the complexity of your health imbalances, this initial treatment will take between 45-60 minutes to complete, in total.

Follow-up appointments take about 40-45 minutes in total.

What type of results can you expect from acupuncture?

Most people respond and see benefits within 4-6 acupuncture sessions, although this varies by health imbalance and complexity of the issues.

Some people with chronic pain, or chronic conditions, may need more treatments — and you and I can discuss that during your initial treatment.

The majority of our patients come for weekly acupuncture treatments initially (4-6 to start).

Beyond that, we can discuss what works for you.
